Crafts and Memories

My aunt Carla had posted a recipe of DIY handprint ornaments on my Facebook wall a while ago. When I first saw it, I thought “There’s no way I’d be able to do that.” If you would have seen anything I tried to “make” in the past, you would understand. But as the Holiday’s drew closer, I really wanted to make something for us, and for our family members, that they could have from the kids. So I figured, let’s give it a go.

And…. It was a success! The kids and I had so much fun making them. It took us the entire afternoon and evening, and my kitchen was filled with flour. I’m a little OCD on a clean kichen, but I didn’t care. We all had a blast. We made quite a few batches, and they were all so excited to get their hands in the dough (and to eat it!).

Here’s the directions if anyone is interested for the future. Ours turned out great, check them out!

Making memories, being goofy, having fun… that’s what being a mom is all about!
